By All For Jesus

All the words of Jesus can be trusted well!

Reference Passages: 1. Proverbs 30:5-6; 2. Psalm 12:6;

(Continuation)

It is not for us people to impose upon God (i.e., the Lord Jesus Christ) what He is supposed to do with things or circumstances or events or people or relationships, etcetera, even though Jesus had given us the right to exercise our free will before Him, to a certain extent.

In Jeremiah 18:1-10, the message or word of the “Good” Lord Jesus came to Jeremiah instructing him to come to the potter’s house since there, the Lord Jesus will make Jeremiah to hear His words or messages for the people of Israel. So, when Jeremiah had reached the potter’s house, he saw the potter molding clay on the wheels, but the vessel that the potter had made out of the clay had been marred or deformed in his hand. Thus, the potter had to make another vessel again (out of the clay) as he desired.

Therefore, the words of the Lord Jesus came to Jeremiah, asking the Israelites if He (i.e., Christ) cannot do with them just as what it pleased the potter to do with the clay, considering the fact that just as the clay was in the potter’s hand, so is the house of Israel in the hands of the Lord Jesus. Hence, regarding any nation or kingdom, if at any point in time, the Lord Jesus Christ speaks to remove it, and bring it down, and have it destroyed, if that nation or kingdom turns from its evil or wicked ways, He will stop or hold back or restrain or refrain from doing harm to that nation or kingdom.

Likewise, regarding any nation or kingdom, if at any point in time, the Lord Jesus Christ speaks to put up and establish it, if it does evil in His sight and obeys not His voice, the Lord Jesus will hold back or stop the good which He promised to benefit that nation or kingdom with.

While the “Good” Lord Jesus Christ allows each and every one of us to exercise our free will and desires to a certain extent, in the final accounting or reckoning of issues and over all summation of events, He would still always have the concluding or last say. We are just like clays held in the very hands of the Lord Jesus Christ- the absolutely perfect or faultless Potter who can mold us any which way He wants, but only if we are going to allow Him to!

The Lord Jesus kills and makes alive. He brings down one to the grave and He brings up one to be born. He makes one poor and makes another rich. He humiliates or abases one and exalts or lifts another (I Samuel 2:6-7). If He wants us to experience certain things, we must allow Him to and let Him be. If He wants us to experience certain frustrations and/or ugly situations, let’s allow Him to. If success, let’s thank Him more!

Jesus had made all people- some blind, some deaf, some mute, some limbless or without extremities. Others, He had made lame or crippled or disabled, but most people He had made physically complete, healthy and strong. Whichever way we are, the Lord Jesus has a purpose, has a program, has a direction, and has a plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11)! Can anyone blame the Lord Jesus for his or her miseries or wretchedness or griefs or sorrows? Who are we to dispute with or contradict the Lord Jesus Christ?

Can the one who is formed or molded say unto Him that formed or molded it, why have You made me this way? Does not the Potter have the right or authority over the clay, of the same mold or lump to make one vessel unto honor and another unto dishonor (Romans 9:20-21)? Does He (i.e., Jesus) not know what is best for everyone concerned? His very words will see us through!! His very words are ever tried and tested!!! We can count on all the words of Jesus! We can trust on all His promises!!

We can rely on everything that He had spoken about and His faithful servants have written out!!! Since the way or path of the Lord Jesus is faithful, true and upright, all His words are tried or tested or proven and therefore, reliable! Hence, He is a buckler or shield or protector to all them that trust in Him (II Samuel 22:31).

After Solomon- the son of King David had been made King in place of his father, when King David was about to die, he instructed his son- King Solomon to be strong or courageous and to behave as a true man. Furthermore, he charged King Solomon to keep or regard or observe the instructions of the Lord Jesus Christ- their God, to walk in His ways or paths, to keep or attend to His statutes or ordinances, and His precepts or commandments, and His judgments, and His testimonies or declarations, as it was written in the Law of Moses (i.e., the Torah or Pentateuch or 1st 5 Books of the Hebrew Bible, where the Decalogue or 10 commandments were embodied or substantiated), for in so- doing King Solomon will prosper in all that that he does and in all that he faces or confronts (I Kings 2:1-3; Joshua 1:8).
